Narendra Modi is the current Prime Minister of India, serving since 2014.
He was born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, a small town in the Indian state of Gujarat.
Prior to becoming Prime Minister, Modi served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014.
Modi is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), a right-wing political party in India, and is known for his strong nationalist and pro-Hindu views.
He has implemented a number of economic and social policies aimed at modernizing India, including the Make in India initiative and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission).
