Starting from the academic year 2023–2024, the University of Delhi is introducing two five-year law programs: BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons).
The DU LLB application form 2023 for admission to these courses will soon be accessible on the official website du.ac.in.
As of July 26, the Bar Council of India (BCI) has given its approval for the establishment of 60 seats for BA LLB (Hons) and an additional 60 seats for BBA LLB (Hons).
Admission to Delhi University's LLB programs will hinge on the results of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT UG 2023) examination.
According to the official statement, "The classes for BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) courses will take place at the Faculty of Law, Kanad Bhawan, north campus, University of Delhi."
The institution had established the Department of Law within the Faculty of Law back in 1924
Earlier, the DU law faculty provided a three-year LLB program, full-time and part-time LLM courses, and a PhD in law.
