In the Kedarnath mandir, mobile phones will be prohibited.

After the proposal video went viral. Temple authority writes to police, requesting action against youtubers and reels creators.

The Badrinath Kedarnath Trust has intimated that mobile phones may soon be banned from the Kedarnath shrine area, for which an advisory has already been issued.

The Badrinath Kedarnath Trust issued a notice on July 3 announcing that mobile phones will soon be outlawed in the Kedarnath temple region, which is one of Lord Shiva's 12 Jyotirlingas.

The letter was intended as a warning to 'devotees' who were filming Instagram and YouTube videos near the spot.

Days after a video of a woman proposing to her boyfriend in front of Kedarnath Temple went viral, the trust sent issued the notice.

The woman in the Instagram video, who has been identified as as Vishakha Fulsunge and has over 8 lakh followers, got down on one knee and proposed to her partner.
