Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of legal experience.
  • LL.B. (undergraduate law degree) from a recognized Indian university.
  • Must possess ACS credentials with an active membership from ICSI.
  • Professional legal experience of 3+ years in a reputed law firm or in-house legal department of a leading company.
  • Proven expertise in client advisory, contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiations.
  • Preferred qualification: Fluency in English with outstanding writing and speaking abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offering continuous legal guidance on intellectual property, digital media, e-commerce marketplace, regulatory compliance, and company secretarial functions.
  • Handling contract negotiation, drafting, and review to ensure alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Resolving disputes and addressing pre-litigation matters.
  • Reviewing business models, program structures, and promotional content to ensure compliance with Amazon’s standards.
  • Supporting cross-functional teams with sound legal and business judgment.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders across various levels of management.
