Law job Opportunity: Consultants (Legal) Vacancy at Ministry of Jal Shakti

The Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, is inviting online applications for the position of Consultants (Legal) in the National Mission for Clean Ganga, under the Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, New Delhi.

Position Available: Consultants (Legal)

Number of Positions: 02 (Two)

Essential Qualification and Experience:

  1. Educational Requirement:
    • Candidates must hold a full-time bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized institution or university.
  2. Experience:
    • A minimum of 05 years’ experience in legal matters is required.
    • Experience in handling court cases, arbitration cases, including those related to public interest litigations, Writs, establishment, and contractual cases at the High Court and Supreme Court level, including NGT, is essential.
    • Candidates should have experience in examining and analyzing laws/statutes, with knowledge of government administrative regulations, legal procedures, labor laws, and arbitration matters.
    • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English, with a working knowledge of Hindi, is necessary.
    • Proficiency in computer skills and working with office software and other applications is expected.
    • Educational qualifications and experience requirements may be relaxed in cases where there is relevant work experience.
