Overview
The Director of Children Welfare and Special Services, Chennai, invites applications for the position of Social Worker Member at the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB). This is an honorarium-based position, and the selected candidates will contribute to the welfare and rehabilitation of children under the Juvenile Justice system. Importantly, one of the two positions will be reserved for a woman candidate.
Note: This role is not considered government employment, but it offers a significant opportunity to serve children in need.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
- Applicants must be aged between 35 and 65 years.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants should qualify under at least one of the following conditions:
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of active involvement in health, education, or welfare activities related to children.
- Required Qualification: Candidates should hold a degree in Child Psychology, Psychiatry, Sociology, or Law.
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of child welfare and protection laws.
- Skills to assist in the development and implementation of programs for juvenile rehabilitation and guidance.
- Compassionate approach towards children in need.
